The Pollard is a historic hotel built in 1893 and is located in the former mining town of Red Lodge, Montana, at the edge of the Rockies and Yellowstone National Park. Red Lodge offers you year-round opportunities for outdoor activities, and The Pollard offers you a base for these activities or simply a beautiful location for a short getaway. Nestled in the foothills of the Beartooth Mountains, The Pollard offers historic charm and modern conveniences.

Lodging Style and Amenities

The hotel that served Buffalo Bill Cody, Calamity Jane and other western legends reopened in 1994 after a complete restoration. Since then its old-fashioned comfort, modern conveniences, and attentive staff have earned wide recognition and many awards. You may choose from guest rooms and suites that have mountain views, oversized jacuzzi tubs, steam baths, or balconies overlooking the gallery and fireplace. You will enjoy sitting in our oak-paneled public rooms savoring a relaxing drink or a good book, or working out in the fully-equipped health club. A full American style breakfast is included with your stay each morning. Other amenities include free Wi-Fi, free local calling and use of our health club, racquetball courts and steam saunas.

The Dining Room at The Pollard has been hosting locals and visitors since the end of the 19th century. Enjoy a special night out or a full breakfast in an atmosphere of casual elegance. Our evening menu changes often but always includes steak, fish and vegetarian options. Our servers will be sure to make your experience memorable!

Breakfast
For breakfast you may enjoy eggs cooked to order, French Toast, Belgian waffles, pancakes, and many other breakfast items. Our coffee is rich and tasty. You can also choose from a wide variety of teas. Breakfast for two is included in the room tariff for guests of the hotel.

Dinner
We offer carefully prepared food made with fresh ingredients, locally grown when possible. The menu changes frequently, to reflect our chef's latest inspirations and what is available. The creative continental cuisine is complimented by our extensive wine list.

Rate Range: Rooms range in price from $70-$295 per night.

Driving Directions

Directions from Billings, MT: Billings International Airport is 1 hour and 15 minutes from Red Lodge. Head out of the airport via Terminal Circle and take 27th street through downtown Billings to the highway exit. Depart Billings via 1-90 W to Butte. Take the US 212/ US 310 Laurel exit and turn left onto Hwy 212. Proceed along Hwy 212 straight to Red Lodge. The Pollard Hotel is on located at the junction of 11th and Broadway.

Directions from Cody, WY: The Yellowstone Regional Airport is 1 hour 20 minutes from Red Lodge. Leaving the airport, head west on Duggleby Dr. toward Baker Dr. Take the first left onto Baker Dr and then turn right onto US 14 W/US 20 W/WY 120 W. Proceed slightly left at Sheridan Ave. Turn right at 16th St (signs posted for US 14 E/Wy 120 W/ Powell) and continue until you reach the Depot Dr intersection. Turn left onto Depot Dr and continue north out of town along WY 120 to the Montana state border. Travel north along MT Hwy 72 until you reach the town of Belfry. Take a left at the stop sign to MT Hwy 308 and proceed directly to Red Lodge.
