The Brewery Follies

The Brewery Follies is a contemporary comedy that plays during the summer months in historic Virginia City, Montana. Shows take place in Montana's first brewery, the H.S. Gilbert Brewery, on a small stage built in 1984. The humor is risque (we like to say naughty), and is not recommended for children. Adults, who want to have a really fun-filled night in a comedy club atmosphere, can relax with delicious libations (many beers are made in Montana) and laugh themselves silly. Virginia City is an old mining town in Montana. Gold was discovered here in 1863 and the town has existed ever since. When you come here, you will see that history has been suspended in time with the preservation of many old buildings and artifacts. It's wonderful!
The Brewery Follies is actually one of two live theaters in this little town. There are also many wonderful restaurants, museums (including Nevada City, 1/2 mile from Virginia City, which is an open air museum....the town is the museum), shops with fabulous merchandise, and hotels and B & B's. There is also the opportunity to pan for gold, find garnets and rubies, go horseback riding or ride in an old stage coach, or take in the nightly Ghost Walk and hear about the haunts lingering in this old town.
Admission Fee: $18.00
Ages Event is Appropriate For: PG 16 (Adult humor)
