Meadowlark Ski Lodge is located along Cloud Peak Scenic Byway (highway 16 West) 45 miles West above Buffalo. The Big Horn National Forest is home to several pristine snowmobile trails, cross country Ski trails, snowshoeing, sledding and iceskating. Local businesses and the ski resort host snowboard, ski, & snowmobile rentals.

Pole Creek Challenge

The Powder Pass Nordic Skiers & Shoers of Buffalo in conjunction with the Johnson County YMCA and the USFS Powder River Ranger District are hosting a 5k or 10k Recreational Race for Skate and Classic Nordic Skiers February 6, 2010 at 10:00am at Pole Creek.

Early Bird Registration � Prior to February 1 - $10 at the Johnson County YMCA.
On Site Registration � February 6 - $15
A post race drawing will be held for all racers.
