Hot Springs County Museum and Cultural Center
The museum houses exhibits and events aimed to educate and preserve the history of Hot Springs County, Wyoming. The unique exhibits include a history of area mining activities, period rooms depicting pioneer life, Native American artifacts and other Western memorabilia.
The museum has a very large collection of artifacts used in the daily life of settlers, explorers, and pioneers of the area dating from the 1880s to the 1930s. Noteworthy items of historical value are found throughout the collection, including the cherry wood bar salvaged from the Hole-in-the-Wall Saloon was a favorite lean of outlaws Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid at the turn of the 20th century.
Hours Open: Monday-Saturday 9am to 7pm and Sunday 1pm to 5pm
Fees: Adults $4; Seniors and Children (age 5-12) $2
