The Blue Heron Inn offers our guests superb Western hospitality in a serene and restful setting. The inn has seven beautifully decorated rooms, all with private baths. Room rates range from $109 - $199 double occupancy. A three-course Western-style gourmet breakfast is served each morning in the sunny dining room which faces the river and a beautiful view of the surrounding mountains.

Located on the banks of the South Fork of the Snake River (640 feet of river frontage) and along US Hwy 20, the Inn is the perfect hub for a wide variety of experiences. The South Fork is a world-class blue ribbon trout river renown for its native cutthroat, brown, and rainbow trout, so fishing is one of our premier activities. Drop a line in the river, just outside the back door of the Inn!

The Blue Heron Inn was built in 2000 and is elegantly Western in style with large log pillars and interior log accents. The inn has won numerous awards from organizations such as Mountain Living Magazine, BedandBreakfast.com, and BBonline. It has been featured on the television show, Northwest Backroads which was aired in the Seattle, Portland, and Boise areas.

Guests enter the inn through a spacious foyer which faces the beautiful great room with river rock fireplace and large windows overlooking the river. Porches on the main floor and decks on the second floor offer expansive views of the river and the surrounding mountains.

The second floor loft has an area for reading, a game table with many types of games, and a library with books that guests can borrow.

There is also a pool table and a massage/workout room with a treadmill. Massages can be arranged for the guests.

The inn is pet friendly with one room available for our guests and their pets. The Carriage House is located in the owners' quarters adjacent to the main lodge.
